It’s Müller Time!

Made from Müller-Thurgau in the Mosel valley (Germany) by Staffelter Hof, this absolute smasher has a mild tropical twang alongside some some very light skin contact. It has a simply marvelous finish compromising a picnic hamper of peach, jasmine, green apple and honeysuckle.

The grapes come from a vineyard called ‘Paradies’ where limestone and clay dominate. The Müller Thurgau clones here have wider bunches, with more space between bunches as well as between individual berries

The grapes are destemmed, and one third
of the wine is fermented on its skins for two weeks whilst the rest is direct pressed. Fermentation and aging both occur in steel tanks. The wine stays on its lees for six months prior to bottling. Unfined, unfiltered, no added sulphites!

The name is a take on the slogan ‘It’s Miller Time’ whilst Sanderstruck is a Bernie Sanders reference. Also a little nod to Black Flag on the label!
