It's been almost one year since we opened the doors to Flat Iron Bristol and, to mark the occasion, we'll be taking the last Carcass Club of the year to Clare St!

This event will be particularly special as we'll be serving an F2 Wagyu steer (75% Wagyu genetics) from our herd in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. The animals have lived their whole lives under the careful eye of third-generation farmer Charles Ashbridge, who has been caring for our herd from the very beginning.

WHAT: Wagyu from the herd, a generous portion of beef-dripping chips and sauce Choron - £20pp

We are very lucky to have people at Flat Iron who are always looking out for exciting beefy opportunities. This animal is thanks to Scott, our butcher in Covent Garden. We will be serving Highlander beef, alongside a generous portion of chips and sauce Choron for £20pp.

Walk-ins only on a first-come, first-served basis.

This might be our most popular burger ever: the Smashed Onion Double Cheeseburger, two beef patties from our herd in Thirsk, slices of sweet onion smashed into the patties, American cheese, sliced pickles, American mustard, ketchup bearnaise and crispy batter scraps.

Join us at Flat Iron Piccadilly tomorrow from 5pm for your chance to try a very rare breed - White Park.

White Park can be traced back many hundreds of years to the wild white cattle that once roamed the forests of Europe and are directly related to the original wild ox, the Aurochs. They were so rare that Winston Churchill, at the outbreak of war, sent three cows and a bull to Texas, USA to ensure the survival of this extremely delicious breed.

White Park is currently classed as ‘at risk’ by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust. The only way to support this rare and delicious breed and keep it alive for future generations to enjoy is to create a demand for the beef it produces.

If travelling by public transport, the closest stations to James Street are Bond Street and Oxford Circus which are served by various Underground lines including the Bakerloo, Central, and Victoria lines. From either of these stations, it's a short walk to James Street.

If driving or parking, there are several pay-and-display car parks in the vicinity such as Cavendish Square Car Park and Q-Park Oxford Street. It's worth checking availability in advance as parking in this area can be limited. There are also several bus routes that serve James Street for those who prefer to travel by bus.
