In the words of Porky Pig (for those of us old enough to remember) “That’s All Folks!”
It’s time for Koeksister to say goodbye! We’d like to say a massive thank you to each and every one of you that has supported our small business over the last 2 and a bit years whether it be liking posts, ordering cakes or coming to the shop. It’s been an unbelievable experience! We have met some of the most incredible people and made some amazing friends! We will still be doing our bespoke cakes once I’ve settled in my new role as a mother! Yes, Koeksister has been baking more than just cakes this past while. Thank you to everyone for all the love and support you’ve shown us. It’s been a journey that we’ll never forget and we are forever grateful to you all!
We will be taking a much needed break but will be back soon with more cakes!

Absolutely delighted to have been asked to make this special engagement cake, our biggest yet! 3 layers of lemon sponge with lemon buttercream and 3 layers of red velvet with cream cheese frosting all encased in a vanilla buttercream and decorated with flowers and edible gold leaf.
Square cakes have become a firm favourite!

Not all cakes have to be round. We did this 10 inch square cake for one of our lovely regulars to celebrate her son’s engagement! 🥳🎉 Vanilla sponge with fresh cream, fresh fruit and a delicious strawberry jam filling! Congratulations again to Will and Abbey 💕

It’s been very busy over the past few weeks helping our lovely customers celebrate special occasions, starting with this one! This was a 50th Wedding Anniversary! 🥳🎉 Mr and Mrs White are just so lovely, we wish them many more happy years together.
I have a bit of a backlog at the minute and will be posting all the cakes I’ve taken pictures of (yes, I have forgotten a few 🤦🏼♀️ my brain hasn’t been my own as of late!)

Happy 30th birthday! Loved making this cake. A chocoholic after my own heart! Our delicious chocolate sponge, chocolate frosting with Oreos, Oreo and Twirl bites surrounded by chocolate fingers and a splash of gold sparkle! 😍🤤

Our first smash cake!
Smash cake? It’s a small cake made specifically for a baby’s first birthday to do whatever they want with! This one was incredibly special as it was for my gorgeous niece 😍 My sister didn’t want a lot of frosting so we had a vanilla cake with pink and white in a semi naked finish topped with flowers and bunny ears (before the smash started).

Not all superheroes wear capes!
With Father’s Day only a week away, we will be doing these superhero inspired cupcakes! Flavours available are vanilla, chocolate, lemon or our customer favourite, Biscoff! All boxes are £20 and available for collection next Sunday between 11-2 with last day for orders Friday the 17th!

Another big chocolate celebration that went out yesterday! This semi-naked chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream and fresh fruit! What a combination! 😍 I really enjoyed making this one and so pleased it was well received for such a special occasion! 😊

To get to Bell Parade in West Wickham, there are two main options. If you prefer public transport, you can take the train to West Wickham Station and then walk for approximately 15 minutes to reach the destination. Alternatively, you can take the bus to the High Street bus stop and then walk for approximately 5 minutes.
If you prefer driving, keep in mind that parking may be limited in the area. You can park on surrounding streets where permitted or there is a paid carpark nearby. Once parked, it will be a short walk to the destination.
