To celebrate 130 years J.Sheekey partners with Vivienne Westwood. A terrace takeover inspired by on Westwood’s seminal print ‘Evolution of Man’.
For J.Sheekey, evolution is found in the rhythm of the West End itself, a restaurant shaped by theatreland’s energy, Soho’s history, and the slightly unruly spirit that has always defined London at its most alive. The print, spanning centuries of character, style, and identity, reflects the ever-changing cast of London itself, and the generations of actors, artists, rebels, and cultural figures who have passed through J.Sheekey’s doors over the last 130 years.
More than an anniversary, the partnership is a celebration of London and the people who continue to shape it.

What people say
Seafood restaurants are known for their fresh and delicious seafood dishes, and J.Sheekey in London is no exception. This iconic restaurant has been serving the finest fish and shellfish for over 100 years, making it a must-visit destination for seafood lovers.
J.Sheekey's culinary team, led by Executive Chef Andrew McClay, sources only the best ingredients to create their mouth-watering dishes. From dressed crab to shellfish and their famous fish pie, every dish is perfectly prepared and beautifully presented.
The restaurant itself is steeped in history, with four inter-connecting rooms hung with original pictures of actors from throughout the 20th century that reflect its central position in the theatre world. Both casts and audiences flock here to enjoy not only the immaculately sourced seafood but also to continue the evening’s entertainment.
In addition to its main dining room, J.Sheekey also boasts a more informal oyster bar next door. Its horseshoe-shaped central dining bar and photographs of 21st-century theatrical luminaries by Alison Jackson echo the original restaurant's charm and popularity.
Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner or a casual lunch with friends, J.Sheekey offers an unforgettable dining experience. With excellent service, delicious food, and a charming atmosphere, it's no wonder this restaurant has become an institution in London's culinary scene.
