There’s special 5-course menu created by Guadalajara natives () & (), with special drinks pairing by . We’ll be hosting this dinner downstairs in .cinco for ultimate chef’s table vibes.

Chef’s Table - Tequila Fortaleza X Daniel Carrillo X Ramón El Tigre Ramos

Daniel Carrillo (Corrochio’s) & Ramón El Tigre Ramos (Nine Lives) are joining forces on Wednesday the 13th May for an intimate Chef’s Table event, with special drink pairing by Tequila Fortaleza created by Brand Ambassador Andrés Moran .

The two Guadalajara natives have created a 5-course seafood menu inspired by their upbringing in the city, and their love for for the coastal shores of Mexico.

While Ramón grew up working in his family seafood restaurant, Los Barcos Mariscos, Daniel spent many childhood vacations on the coast of Jalisco and Nayarit, cooking their freshly-caught seafood on the beach.

We can’t wait to share this intimate family-style dining with you, hosted downstairs in Corrochio’s speakeasy agave bar Cinco .cinco , transporting you to the comedor of Daniel & Ramón’s family homes.

This Bank Holiday Friday at 12pm we launch the much anticipated Corrochio’s Michelada Menu!

Trust us when we say the R&D for this one was extensive. It was a tough job for our panel of michelada experts (our staff) but they persevered and landed on these 5 outstanding micheladas.

MICHELADA CLASICA
Corrochio’s OG house michelada. Clamato, salsa negras, lime, and a Tajin rim.

MICHELADA DULCE BEAT
Have a sweet tooth? This michealada is for you! A special miche mix of tamarind, sangrita, chamoy, achiote & coriander, with a chamoy & ajonjoli garapiñado (candied sesame) rim, & a banderilla tama roca straw

MICHEVICHE
Our house michelada with a duro (wheat crisp) topped with Corrochio’s prawn ceviche

MICHELADA VALLARTA
Our house michelada topped with a crispy fried fish chicharron and oyster dressing, on a bed of fried leeks 

MICHELANGA
Our house michelada with homemade cecina al pastor & pineapple skewer 

¿Qué cerveza? you ask. We have an ever changing range of Mexican beers, from the classics (Pacifico & Modelo), to the harder to find Modelo Negra, Victoria, & Tecate. We also have gluten free and alcohol free options!

Micheladas are for all day, not just for brunch! Our Miche menu will be available every evening during the week, alongside brunch on Saturdays & Sundays.

VAMPIRITO TAQUITO 🍹🌮
To celebrate National Taco Day and the return of our beloved Vampirito cocktail, we’ll be serving this special edition ‘Vampirito Taquito’ for one day only!

Our Vampirito is inspired by the famous Vampiro cocktail from Soyatlan, Jalisco. Driving through the town you’ll find a street full of vendors serving this iconic drink, made with Sangrita Viuda de Sanchez, your tequila of choice, and Sq**rt. Our Vampirito is pretty much this, just not served in a plastic bag.

This year National Taco Day falls on a Tuesday, which is a sign from the Mexican Food God’s that you must join us for Taco Tuesday, and eat as may tacos as you can physically manage. This won’t happen again for another 100 years*, so you’d be silly not to take advantage of this rare opportunity. Plus, we’ll be putting some extra special tacos on the menu, so stay tuned 👀

This zarandeado recipe is in memory of our chef’s father Don Florencio Carrillo. We launched this hairy guy last week replacing our famous Playa del Dalston expecting some backlash but none of that came! :)

Seabass marinated & cooked in the famous Nayarita zarandeado sauce; cheese costra, alfalfa bed, peashoots, tomato, topped with salsa macha.

Did you know we make our Espresso Martinis with homemade cafe de olla? That’s Mexican filter coffee, the brewed with pilloncilllo (Mexican refined cane sugar), cinnamon, fresh orange peel, star anise & cloves. Shake with alongside a perfect blanco tequila and some Kaluha (also Mexican, FYI!) and you’ve got your self the perfect pick me up.

Introducing the newest Corrochio’s Signature Tacos!

Over the past few months we’ve developed a number of Signature Tacos to our la carte menu. It started with the XO Taco we created exclusively for the opening of .cinco last year - an elevated small bite that packed so much of a punch that guests were ordering 2-3 at a time. So it was a no-brainer to bring it upstairs.

And so it began. Soon came the Califa (V1, V2, & V3!), and the Black Pastor Gringa. Chef patron has so many ideas that last week he said *f**k it* and just put them all on the menu.

So, without further ado, on the menu from today…

MAR Y TIERRA
A surf-and-turf indulgence! Scottish sirloin cooked in lime & lard. Pasilla prawns, cheese costra, charred onion & jalapeño dressing, avocado, salsa borracha & a jalapeño toreado. If you’re feeling really fancy you can add a smoked bone marrow with a sprinkle of sal de gusano on the side 🐛

TACO CALIFA VERDE
Califa Taco but make it green 🌱 Grilled courgette, cheese costra, charred onion & jalapeño dressing, salsa verde & a jalapeño toreado

FISH ZARANDEADO TACO
A trip from Guadalajara city to Sayulita beach 🌊Seabass marinated & cooked in the famous Nayarita zarandeado sauce, cheese costra, alfalfa bed, peashoots, tomato, topped with salsa macha.

A little costra action at the end to get your mouth watering!

Califa is one of our most popular signature tacos; we like mixing it up according to seasonal ingredients every 2 months or so and this time around we have dressed it with a charred onion and jalapeño dressing. A salsa morita, serrano toreado and switched from sirloin to Brazilian picanha.
