Isn’t this just the most gorgeous winter wedding treat box? All white with a sparkle of gold this box included a mixture of vanilla and chocolate cupcakes frosted with a glam white buttercream and decorated with a hint of gold touches, delicate rose details and a subtle winter theme of snowflakes and a mixture of cakesicles and geo heart cake gems filled with vanilla cake mix and encased in a bright white chocolate. And so Lockdown 2.0 has begun in England... 😩 I didn’t feel like baking anything pretty today but I still wanted to fire up the Rosie Bakes Cakes London oven so I went with a lockdown classic and a favourite amongst my friends and family the humble Banana Bread.

If you’d like to give this lockdown classic a go I have popped the recipe up on my stories. There’s something about the smell of the banana and the warming nutmeg as it’s baking that comforts me so I hope it will for you too!

You can take the tube and alight at Notting Hill Gate Station (Central Line, District Line, and Circle Line), from there it's a 10-minute walk to the cupcake store. Alternatively, you can use a bus and drop off at Notting Hill Gate Bus Station which is also a 10-minute walk to the store.
On the other hand, if you prefer driving your own car then there are several parking options available including street parking and pay & display zones in the vicinity of Notting Hill. Please note that due to heavy traffic in London there might be delays when driving so it's advisable to plan accordingly.
