This Mothers Day we are honoured to be cooking an authentic family recipe of Pipián Verde from Abuela Lulú, which has been passed down through the generations 🙏🏽
Pipián Verde is a creamy, nutty, tangy green sauce made with fried pumpkin seeds, tomatillos, fresh green chiles, coriander, garlic & onions 🌿
We are serving Lulú’s recipe as she does, with tender chicken breast, white rice and tortillas.
We have taken the liberty to add steamed asparagus and pickled onions, and finish the dish with fresh coriander crushed pumpkin seeds
