Would be impossible to celebrate our 15th anniversary without speaking about the Bermondsey Bomba, and completely impossible without speaking about Mohammed ❤️
Mohammed, or Momo as we affectionately call him, has been with us for 15 years, and back in 2011 he made the Bermondsey Bomba for the very first time. A nod to the classic bombas of Barcelona, reimagined in Bermondsey, it quickly became one of the dishes that tells the story of our restaurants.
To celebrate, we’re bringing it back at its original 2011 price, with a £1.50 caña* to go with it. Just like the old days.
*£1.50 caña available only when ordered with a Bermondsey Bomba. Maximum 2 cañas per person.

Another week, another strike.
As we start to call this normality in London, we thought we should probably do something about it: a £25 voucher to spend at Pizarro and Lolo when dining with us.
A little something to make the strike feel slightly more worthwhile.

We couldn’t do it alone! As we celebrate our 15th anniversary on Bermondsey Street, we invited the people who helped shape who we are today.
And who knows us better than our neighbours? .brown.gardening is one of them.
Over the years, this street has become more than just where we work; it’s become a community. The familiar faces, the independent businesses, the people who support one another through every season. Our street wouldn’t be the same without the people in it. And neither would we.
Celebrate with us from today until 15th December; we’ve got much more coming.

This year marks 15 years of José and Pizarro restaurants on Bermondsey Street.
What started as something simple has grown into something far beyond what we ever imagined.
From Bermondsey Street to the , The Swan in Esher, in Abu Dhabi, in Spain, and our own online shop, every step has been guided by the same vision: an incredible chef sharing the culture of Spain in the UK through honest, generous food, and creating something truly genuine.
And behind it all, there’s always been an army of people in hospitality: our teams; who make it what it is, every single day.
To our teams, to , and to you; thank you. Happy 15 years!

Arroz de pollo tomatero con ragú de hígado 🍅🔥
Roasted baby chicken folded into rich tomato rice, finished with a deep, silky chicken liver ragú and sweet slow-cooked onion. Comforting, bold and unapologetically full of flavour. The kind of dish that lingers long after the last bite.

Silky squid resting on a bed of deep, inky black rice 🖤🌊
Bold from the sea, rich with slow-layered flavour, and finished with that perfect touch of warmth and spice. A dish that speaks softly but leaves a lasting impression.
