What people say
Kitchen Table on Charlotte Street is a ⭐️⭐️ Michelin starred restaurant that offers an exceptional dining experience. The restaurant prides itself on serving the best-sourced ingredients, which are used to create a daily changing tasting menu. The team at Kitchen Table is dedicated to providing guests with the highest level of hospitality, as evidenced by their recent social media post thanking a guest chef for their visit and expressing gratitude for the team's hospitality.
The attention to detail at Kitchen Table is evident in every aspect of the restaurant, from the pre-service briefing where the team communicates, plans, motivates, teaches and shares ideas to the stunning preserve and aging fridges. The dishes served at Kitchen Table are nothing short of spectacular. For example, their Fenland wood pigeon cooked over charcoal with raw baby turnips, pickled cherries, salted Sakura flowers, green fig leaf oil and a sauce made from the necks infused with spiced cherry juice is a standout dish.
Another must-try dish is their Cornish squid cooked in chicken fat and then emulsified with pickled tomatoes, salad of sorrel and Thai basil and confit Meyer lemon skin. And if you're looking for something truly unique, try their wood pigeon dish featuring breast, fillet, heart and bone sauce served with figs from their garden. The ripe ones get turned into a sauce infused with leaves while all the hard green ones are gently pickled in a pickle they also make with leaves. Finally, they use fig leaves to create a green oil.
Overall, Kitchen Table on Charlotte Street is an exceptional restaurant that offers an unforgettable dining experience. From the outstanding food to the impeccable service and attention to detail throughout every aspect of the restaurant - it's no wonder why they have earned two Michelin stars!
