As we wrap up for a short break, we want to say thank you to everyone who’s stopped by the bakery this year and to the brilliant team behind the scenes who make it all happen.
Today we say goodbye to (bottom right), our Head Baker, as she heads off on an exciting new venture. Thank you for all of your positivity and hard work. We’re going to miss your immense kindness and the incredible laughter that lit up our small bakery. We wish you the very best with what comes next.

What people say
Toklas Bakery, located on Surrey Street in London, is a must-visit for anyone who loves freshly baked goods. The bakery offers a wide range of delicious treats including sourdoughs, patisserie, sandwiches and salads. One of their most popular items is the pain au chocolat which takes three days to make and uses cultured butter for a deep flavor and softness to the pastry. Their hot cross buns are also a must-try with a spice tea enriched dough using cardamom, cloves and cinnamon and candied lemon, orange and pomelo for that burst of citrus. Toklas Bakery also offers same-day or next-day delivery for those who can't make it to the store. With friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere, Toklas Bakery is the perfect spot to grab a quick bite or catch up with friends over coffee and pastries.
