Hey everyone,
After 6 amazing years, I’ve made the difficult decision to pass on Surbeanton Coffee to new hands. It’s time for a new adventure, and while I’m excited for what’s ahead, it’s incredibly hard to say goodbye.
Six years ago, I stumbled upon a small, empty shop and poured my heart and soul into building something special. From day one, my goal was to create a place where you felt welcomed and appreciated, and I hope I was able to do that for you.
Over the years, we’ve created so many memories, earned awards along the way, and became a small part of so many people’s lives. We turned into the area’s most loved, busiest little spot, and that’s thanks to all of you.
I can’t express enough gratitude to every single one of you—whether you popped in for your morning coffee, enjoyed our beautiful food, stayed for a chat, or supported us along the way. You’ve become more than customers; you’ve become friends.
I want to thank my incredible team—none of this would have been possible without you. I’ve had the privilege of working with the best people, and I’m forever grateful for that.
Even though I’m stepping away, Surbeanton isn’t going anywhere. You’ll still get the same great coffee and food. The entire staff is still there, and they’ll continue to bring you the amazing service that you’ve always known and loved. Joe, the new owner, is passionate and dedicated, and I’m confident he’ll make it even better.
This is my last week here, and I’ll be around until Sunday. If you want to stop by and say goodbye, I would be very happy to see you.
I’ll still be around Surbiton, as I live here, and I’m looking forward to being one of Surbeanton’s most loyal customers. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all the love and support. This has been the most challenging, rewarding, and beautiful chapter of my life, and I owe it all to you.
With all my love,
John
