Help create more inclusive experiences for people who stammer.

For people who stammer, everyday interactions – like being asked to say their name when they order a coffee – can sometimes feel challenging.

That’s why Starbucks UK has partnered with charity STAMMA to create a first-of-its-kind training for our baristas to better support customers who stammer.

More than 10,000 Starbucks partners across the UK have already completed the training and are helping make our coffeehouses more welcoming and accessible for everyone.

Find out how to get involved at https://stamma.org/

What people say

Starbucks UK, located in Western Gateway, is a coffee shop that offers more than just your typical cup of joe. With signature roasts and light bites, Starbucks UK also provides WiFi availability for those who need to catch up on work or connect with friends. But what sets this coffeehouse chain apart is their commitment to human connection and mental health awareness. Recently, they shared stories from their partners (employees) who value personal wellbeing during Mental Health Awareness Week. Additionally, Starbucks UK has introduced a new line of drinks infused with Partanna extra virgin olive oil called Oleato™, including the Oleato™ Iced Shaken Espresso and Oleato™ Caffe Latte. For those looking for something cold and refreshing, the Oleato Golden Foam™ Cold Brew is velvety smooth and deliciously lush. Overall, Starbucks UK offers a welcoming atmosphere where customers can enjoy quality coffee while also prioritizing mental health and wellness.
