This is an absolute gem of a cafe. The food is excellent. The staff are all friendly and chatty. Oh and there's a busy runway outside with light aircraft and helicopters coming and going. We had a bacon roll and a tea each which we both loved. Then I convinced her to watch some more runway activity so we had a couple of cakes and some coffee. I could spend all day there but can't afford the divorce 😂

I would like to thank the staff for being so helpful during our visit 2 weeks ago. My mother suffered a medical emergency and collapsed during our visit, the staff were extremely helpful in calling an ambulance and offering care and support during a very stressful time. I would like to thank the lady who stayed with us the entire time, you were an amazing help and very much appreciated. We visited for the Sunday roast which looked absolutely lovely, we didn't get to eat much of it but we do plan to visit again as soon as she is well enough. Thanks again for all your help.

Went here for a coffee with Mum today.

Mum ordered a latte & a scone with cream & jam. I wasn't playing to eat so I just had a double espresso..

When the scone came out it was massive! Almost the size of her hand. Nice and warm, with large pots of cream & jam.

So we ended up sharing it.

The coffee was delicious, and I had a second cup (an Americano).

The staff were lovely, the space is really nice overlooking the Aerodrome. Can't recommend it enough!

We only noticed the specials board after I'd ordered or mum would've had the rosti with poached egg.

Edit: Since my initial review we have returned on many occasions. The Rosti was just as delicious as mum hoped.
And I've discovered their pizzas. Which are very reasonably priced. Though I do have to request not to put too much cheese. But are delicious!

Not had a bad meal, and the staff are fantastic!

- From the station, head southeast on Shenley Road towards Allum Lane.
- Continue straight onto Barnet Lane.
- Turn left onto Hogg Lane.
- The Aerodrome Cafe will be on your right.

Driving/Parking:
- If coming from the north, take the M1 and exit at junction 4 for Edgware/Barnet.
- Follow signs for A41 towards Watford/Elstree.
- Continue on A41 until you reach Elstree Hill South.
- Turn left onto Elstree Hill South and continue straight onto Barnet Lane.
- Turn right onto Hogg Lane.
- There is limited parking available at the Aerodrome Cafe.
