What people say
What Katie Did Next Cafe - wkdncafe is a hidden gem in the heart of Hackney Wick. This treat-filled trailer cafe offers a delightful selection of homemade food, cakes, toasties, and coffee that will leave your taste buds wanting more. The cafe is open for breakfast and lunch from Monday to Saturday, making it the perfect spot for a quick bite or a leisurely meal.
The story behind What Katie Did Next Cafe - wkdncafe is truly inspiring. Born out of lockdown 2.0, this business proves that with flexibility and adaptability, anything is possible. The owner bought an avocado green trailer (or more accurately, marrowfat-pea green) and opened a car park cafe when 95% of their normal business failed. They had a purpose and a goal - to feed vulnerable families and folk all over Hackney - and they did so with friendly faces and delicious food.
Now, What Katie Did Next Cafe - wkdncafe has become a beloved spot for locals and tourists alike. The funny old trailer in the weird old location adds to its charm, but it's the food that really steals the show. From mouth-watering toasties to delectable cakes, everything on the menu is made with love and care.
If you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy some homemade treats in Hackney Wick, look no further than What Katie Did Next Cafe - wkdncafe on Hamlet Industrial Estate.
